Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi NP

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport and begin your safari adventure with a drive to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings. Upon reaching Mikumi, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village and engage with the local community. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, start your day with a full day game drive in Mikumi National Park. As one of Tanzania’s most renowned parks, Mikumi offers a diverse range of wildlife. Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelopes. This park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, leopards, and black-backed jackals. Enjoy the thrill of spotting these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Udzungwa Hikking

Embark on an exciting adventure to Udzungwa Mountain National Park after an early breakfast. The park is famous for its beautiful landscapes and stunning waterfalls, especially the Sanje waterfalls. Take a hike through the mountain to reach the top and be rewarded with breathtaking views. You can even take a refreshing swim before enjoying a delicious lunch amidst nature. Afterward, drive back to Mikumi for dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian.

Day 4: Mikumi to Dar es Salaam

On the concluding day of your safari, enjoy a final breakfast at your accommodation before bidding farewell to Mikumi National Park. As you make your way back to Dar es Salaam, take some time to reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and scenic beauty you experienced throughout the safari.
